Skype Is an IM with the ability of making internet calls. Although it was not the first with this technology it is widely used for this purpose.
When I or one of my techs communicate with you we will try to connect with you
in this fashion. Skype does have some screen-sharing capabilities but is not as
complex as Team-Viewer for providing remote access.

Team viewer is a remote access tool. It allows users to remotely access each others
computers. this software allows for remote access but has a component that randomly changes the password so that each time someone wants to access your computer you have to provide them with a new key. This client is only for remote access though and is generally not recommended for chatting. Skype and this are often used together. When you sign up you only need to get the free version.
Broadcast Software
Ok we finally come to this. There are many ways to DJ across the internet.
From using WinAmp to using Spacial Audio's SAM Broadcaster. The full version of
SAM broadcaster can be found at
.
This is pretty much the top of the line for Dj'ing across the internet. You may
go here and look at their packages. I have heard many stories about getting
"free" versions of the software. I have not done enough investigation yet
to say one way or the other. I am just providing the information as I have found
it so far. There is also a site that several of the people I know have purchased
a version for $25. I have seen this version work quite well for the people who
have used it.
